Version: DFX Audio Enhancer for Windows Media Player 8.501
Pros: It really does enhance MP3 music (I listen mostly to pop). Although I must mention that I can't completely objectivly say it's better when I compare the sound when DFX is on and off because on the ON mode it seems to me DFX increases the volume also.
Cons: Quite buggy on WMP11. Problems include occasional stalling, occasional freezing, and frequent screen blacking out temporarily -- all not a good experience when just trying to enjoy music regardless of how awesome effect is.

"It works, difference is noticeable."
Pros: It works for my WMP11, volume increases, sound is good with mp3s.
Cons: When I install DFX, it affects one of my program, when I open the program it shut down my pc. So I decided to uninstall it and the program which DFX has affected is back to its normal condition.

Pros: This seems to be just a placebo, has no affect on sound
Cons: A waste of memory as it doesn't seem to work on my system
Summary: I guess if it works for you it may be worthwhile.

Pros: Downloaded fast.
Cons: All I get is digital noise. When I tried to disable the plug-in WMP hangs and CPU goes to 100%
Summary: Right after I submit this I'm uninstalling.
